PHOENIX – Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey is headed to Israel for an 8-day stay where he plans to attend an international conference on water technology and meeting with business and government officials.
The governor heads to the Middle East on Tuesday and returns Oct. 16.
Ducey will travel to Tel Aviv with the state’s water resources director and a delegation of business and other leaders to attend the water conference.
The three-day Water Technology & Environment Control Exhibition & Conference brings together experts from Israel and other nations that are working to develop sustainable water-use solutions in a time of growing populations, industrial growth and climate change.
Ducey also is set to meet with business leaders to discuss possible relocation to Arizona and with government officials.
