Pure Water Technology announced this week it is opening a new location at 375 Floral Ave., Suite 112, in Chambersburg, which brings the company to a total of five offices.
Its other locations include its headquarters in West Hempfield Township, as well as Exton and Allentown in Pennsylvania and Cockeysville, Md.
Pure Water Technology chose to expand into the Chambersburg area because it has seen an increase in customers from the area, as well as in Hagerstown and Frederick, Md.
“We are excited to finally announce news of our expansion into this region, which reflects the overall growth of the company,” said John Burkholder, president of Pure Water Technology. “The new location will help us to keep existing customers serviced and satisfied, while allowing us to more easily work with new customers in this region.”
The new location is Pure Water’s smallest office. Two people work there – a sales associate and a service sales associate.
The company installs drinking-water systems in businesses.
The systems, made by Illinois-based Pure Health Solutions Inc., run unfiltered water through a filtration and purification process that removes unwanted compounds such as sediments and chemicals.
Pure Water Technology opened in 2005 and employs 26 people, according to company spokesperson Bryant Hughes.
