Six RO plants to take care of contaminated water in city

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, July 21The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has issued work orders for the installation of six RO plants in various parts of the city. Meanwhile, MC Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said work orders have been issued to the firm after completing all formalities and installation procedure would begin shortly so that public get RO water. One RO will have the capacity of 2,000 litre water per hour. The work has been allotted to Hi-Tech Sweet Water Technology Private Limited.

Ludhiana, July 21 The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has issued work orders for the installation of six RO plants in various parts of the city. The RO plants have to be installed in those areas, where there is acute problem of water contamination. The agency will install plants and maintain these for seven years.

The work has been allotted to Hi-Tech Sweet Water Technology Private Limited. The total cost of project is Rs 63.60 lakh. One RO will have the capacity of 2,000 litre water per hour.
